House opens the First Regional Congress on Public Health meeting today at City Hall (29/04/2010)

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, together with the Ministry of Health and the Rector of the University of Murcia, has opened the First Congress of the Murcia of Preventive Medicine and Public Health to be held all day in the City Hall Annex Building .

The meeting brings together about 150 professionals working in the field of preventive medicine and public health in developing effective, quality, improvement and sustainability of the health system.

The right to health of nonsmokers, the recognition of social inequalities and the phenomena of migration are some of the issues to be discussed at this first conference, held under the theme "Working for Health."
