Ten activities complete the program prepared in Murcia on the occasion of World Dance Day, celebrated on April 29 organized by the Professional Conservatory of Dance in collaboration with the city of Murcia.
The Department of Festivals and Popular Culture, directed by Rafael Gómez, wanted to support these activities that take dance to the streets this art closer to Murcia, so that they can appreciate and learn about.
The United Nations proclaimed 2010 as International Year of Rapprochement of Cultures and designated UNESCO as lead agency in this celebration.
