La Biblioteca del Carmen celebrates World Book Day with an original exhibition will be open until April 23, in which the photograph is not the end but a means to promote reading habits, the pleasure of discovering new stories and characters through a book and the chance to enrich our knowledge and cultural training.
It shows almost thirty photographs, made by Mercedes Abellán, in which the protagonists are the employees and collaborators of the library a fun posing with books and other publications.
All these images are in black and white although there are some detail in color.
Similarly, the photographs are accompanied by a literary quote or proverb related to what appears in the image and the world of books and libraries
