Professor José Antonio Gómez Cobacho will tomorrow, 16, sworn in as president of the University of Murcia during a ceremony to be held in the University Community Center on the campus of Espinardo, at 11:30 pm and chaired by Ramón Luis Valcárcel, President of the Autonomous Community.
Cobacho was elected last March 24 in an election in which he ran only to govern the destinies of this educational institution in the next four years.
His appointment was published today in the Official Gazette of the Murcia Region through the decree adopted by the Governing Council of the Autonomous Community.
On the other hand, the same official publication in the same issue includes the appointment of Fulgencio Belando Aragon and Social Council member representing business organizations.
