The Socialist Municipal Association has called the first photography competition 'And you.
What Murcia live? "
with which it aims to highlight the glaring inequalities between the center of Murcia and neighborhoods and districts of the municipality.
Secretary of Coordination of Municipal Executive Committee, Andrea Judit Garrie, explained that "this initiative falls within a strategy that aims to demonstrate how over the nearly fifteen years since the ruling Popular Party in the city of Murcia citizens have been created first and second category according to their place of residence. "
With this objective, the PSOE de Murcia encourages all citizens of the municipality to capture through photographs those perceived inequalities between the urban and rural districts to participate in the first edition of this event.
In addition, the Socialists hope that "this initiative to raise public consciousness about the discrimination faced by the council districts."
In this sense, Garrie Judit Andrea explained that "the results of the first social audits that the PSOE is making between the districts and parishes situations have revealed significant imbalances in the urban growth compared to other municipalities."
Thus, Secretary of Coordination of Municipal Executive Committee says that "while the center of the city is in the XXI century, House and PP have left standing at the parishes in the twentieth century."
Given this neglect, the PSOE proposes "a model of cohesive town, where citizens can access the same services regardless of where they reside."
