Murcia thus adheres to the initiative of WWF 'Earth Hour' to raise awareness on climate change
The City shut down tomorrow, from 20.30 to 21.30 hours, the lights of La Glorieta, the annex building, the Cathedral, Monteagudo Christ, the Episcopal Palace, the Church of Carmen, the Old Bridge and the monument to the river sardine.
This initiative, proposed by the Mayor Miguel Angel House is part of 'Earth Hour', promoted internationally by the WWF, which aims to recall the important role they can play in combating climate change.
The celebration of 'Earth Hour' takes place between initiatives intended to sensitize governments and the general public about the problem of climate change.
In addition to the Chamber membership and the city of Murcia as an institution, the Mayor calls for the participation of society, showing that private and personal gestures also advances the commitment to sustainability.
