The president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, presented yesterday in Cartagena comic commemorating the 75th anniversary of the grouping of the sacrament, the Brotherhood of the Californios.
The event also involved the author of the comic, Ángel García Bravo.
Under the title 'Are we talking about the sacrament, and El Cristo de los Mineros?', The comic, aimed at younger children, tells the story of the Last Supper, illustrated with drawings by the artist Ángel García Bravo.
The president of the UCAM, who spoke on the Biblical story of the sacrament, congratulated the Guild on this initiative, and encouraged attendees to live Holy Week as witnesses of Christ.
For its part, the author of the book, praised the Cartagena Easter, and expressed his joy at the reception of this comic.
During the ceremony also involved the Butler President of the Association of the Last Supper and the Holy Christ of Miners, José Luis García, and the Rector of the Butler Group, Rafael Ruiz.
