From the Association of Students of letters from the University of Murcia denounce the illegal wires within the student council of the UMU (Ceumar) in the "process of renewal of its members."
In their own Internal Regulations of Ceumar be noted that there should be electoral regulations, but now none of the rules used in previous elections has been approved by the Governing Council, although they met the minimum conditions for regulations have been based on top of the UMU, and have been approved by an absolute majority of the Full Ceumar, unlike the regulation that created the Board of Elections Ceumar for use in these elections, which has only been approved by a majority simple, a term with a minimum basis for their writing, and the subsequent regulation has not been ratified by the plenary.
Therefore no minimum guarantees for the electoral process is objective and has adequate publicity amongst all members of Ceumar.
In the words of President Joaquin Lara "It is true that the various agencies of the University are able to develop their own internal regulations, and electoral.
But these regulations must meet minimum requirements and guarantees, and adapted to the rules, regulations and laws above.
They must also be approved by the Governing Council of the UMU, as agreed with the Legal Department of the Institution
"Setting aside legal issues, it's really sad to see student representation at the University of Murcia is dying and nobody does anything about it.
ALUM Since we have always believed in representing the students, so our number of partners it credits (over 300).
We hope that the allegations put before the rector to take effect and halt the process was never started. "
