From 19 to March 21, FEMA held at the Youth Hostel Calarreona (Eagles) their eighth Regional Conference of Student Engagement, where members of Students' Associations throughout the region will be formed to enhance their work as student representatives.
Taking advantage of the feast of San José during the weekend will be held 3 training courses, depending on the level of each participant: the basic course of Participation, the advanced course for Executives / as Students' Associations and the advanced course on Education Policy .
During the inauguration, the President of FEMA, Omar Villar Sedano, emphasized the importance of student participation and student representatives work for the students have their own voice to express opinions and participate in creating the educational system.
For his part, President of the Confederation of Associations of Students CANA, Carlos Javier Ruiz Yébenes, said FEMA's trajectory over 17 years of work representing the students of the Region of Murcia.
Issues of social and political Compact for Education is promoting the Ministry of Education, and Development of Compact for Education in the Region of Murcia will have particular impact during the conference.
