El Centro Deportivo La Alberca-Santo Angel opened its doors in June.
The work has entered its final phase.
The complex, located in the Villa sericulture has six paddle tennis courts, two swimming pools, fitness rooms, gymnasium, spa center with solarium, Finnish sauna and Turkish bath, hairdresser, café, gardens and private parking with 54 seats.
The Councillor for Sports, Miguel Cascales, this morning visited the facility accompanied by municipal technicians, responsible for the work, and the headman of La Alberca, Alfonso Pardo, and St. Angelo, José Gallardo.
The Sports Centre is being built on a plot of 8,800 square meters, the building housing the pools and fitness rooms is 4,200 square meters and 140 square meters cafeteria.
The building is a large glass structure on the sides and large portholes fitness rooms to take advantage of natural light and save energy.
Inside the complex shall be white and minimalist decor.
The six paddle tennis courts are located outside the complex and will have changing rooms and lockers.
Inside the complex has two heated pools, one 25 meters for free swimming courses for all ages.
The other pool will be allocated to activities such as swimming for infants and toddlers.
Sport for All
El Centro Deportivo La Alberca-Santo Ángel provide 3,500 beds for sports and will be specific programs to suit the needs of users.
The children, plus school and paddle swimming courses, have the Junior Club, with a wide range of sports that combine play activities, health education and physical activity.
For young people and adults have developed a business plan and its own system that will help athletes can select customized training programs, led by a professional sports team with great experience.
The sports complex will be headed by Sports Facilities Murcia, from Q Capital.
The technical project is designed by the architects Juan Antonio Sánchez Morales and Mesa del Castillo Miguel Clavel, recognized by international projects such as the Instituto Cervantes in New York.
The planned investment is 5 million euros.
