Murcia City Council has launched initiatives to improve communications between the various municipal departments and between citizens and modernize their computer systems.
The Consistory will invest about 288,000 euros in the acquisition of new equipment for local police.
Specifically, the Board of Governors has provisionally awarded Emurtel, SA integrator providing analog radio communications, tetra digital radio and telephone with a budget of 190,130 euros.
Lead time is 6 months and employ 7 people.
Likewise, it has been provisionally awarded the same company providing eight channels of communications to expand the traffic capacity of the local police station, with an investment of 97,333 euros and a lead time of 4 months old.
Among the planned improvements are also replacing the existing analog PBX Alcaltel the Planning Department and other IP telephony voice and data.
The new system will expand the possibilities of communication infrastructure for eGovernment.
This project has been provisionally awarded to Telefonica Spain, SAU with an investment of 110,432 euros, and anticipates the work of two technicians for three months.
All these projects are funded by the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability.
