Cultural and Social Center and the La Paz Municipal Center El Carmen held from 16 to 26 March its sixth Cultural Encounters with the aim of bringing the customs and traditions of other cultures.
The activities are organized by the cultural centers of La Paz and El Carmen, and Councillors of Festivals and Popular Culture, and Health and Social Services.
This initiative begins tomorrow, March 16, with the exhibition 'broken childhoods' of the photographer Javier Rodriguez, whose works can be visited simultaneously in both centers until March 26.
The inauguration will take place at 18 am at the Municipal Centre of El Carmen, and 20.30 in the Cultural and Social Center of La Paz.
Javier Rodriguez reports are a barometer of the cracks on the planet.
His work on the global status of children led him to several countries in Southeast Asia, Indochina, Latin America and China, reflecting the tragedy of hunger, wars and AIDS.
Also tomorrow, at 17 pm in the Municipal Centre of El Carmen, and 19.30 in the Cultural and Social Center of La Paz, the activity will take place 'Tales of the World', with Ivana Michlig.
The artist presents a show of legends and tales from oral tradition in Argentina, which has been weaving tales in the manner of his maternal grandfather (beliefs Guaraní, Toba, Argentina native peoples) mixed with Western traditions.

It is a monochromatic ink technical school of Japanese painting, which is characterized by its extreme nudity and its lack of symmetry.
On Monday, March 22, at 17 pm and on Wednesday, March 24, at 17 am at the Cultural Center of La Paz will develop a Bilig storytelling activity for children (in Arabic and Castilian).
Also next Monday, March 22, from 19:30 in La Paz, will screen showing several short stories that deal with aspects and realities of coexistence between cultures and diversity.

The workshops have limited places.
To participate you must register at municipal museums where the activity takes place.
In the other activities admission is free until all places.
