Councillor of the United Left + The Greens in the city of Murcia, Esther Herguedas, said today that the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability is "effective" out of economic crisis and does not contribute to changing the production model the locality.

The mayor has criticized that three million fund intended for the construction of the pavilion Cagigal, "without having clarified the circumstances of its decline coinciding with the construction of a parking in the area annexed by a private company."

Denounced the lack of measures to strengthen social policies, and ensured that the city is managing intervention programs because "they have left in the hands of associations that financed through grants."

In addition, Herguedas noted that the fund is "not as a system of financing municipalities, and that connects with their real needs, which go through the financing of current expenditures to the improper assumption of jurisdiction."
