The work will generate 35 jobs
The Department of Festivals and Popular Culture, directed by Rafael Gómez, continues to introduce improvements in the area of culture, in order to offer to all possibilities Murcia access to cultural events in the municipality.
Thus, we have planned reforms Beniaján auditoriums and El Palmar, in order to complete the cultural offer of the municipality, where there are two other venues (La Alberca and Cabeza de Torres) and one more under construction in Algezares.
These reforms will hire a total of 35 unemployed people to Beniaján -15, 20 for El Palmar.
As for the Beniaján Auditorium, improvements in this building will be crucial in the modernization of the machinery of the stage and seating room, renovation of the clubhouse, with the addition of toilets and showers, air conditioning in music rooms, dance hall and other rooms, soundproofing drum room, reform of the sound booth and lobby on the first floor, and paint the interior of the building.
The budget of the works is 174,000 euros, the contract period is five months, will employ 15 workers and construction will begin in May, as planned.
This project is attached to works included in the State Fund for Employment and Sustainability.
Remember that over 2009 have been held 168 functions, music and dance performances in this auditorium, which adds an attendance of 44,250 people last year.
The Music Group is the largest user Beniaján of these units, as School of Music celebrates its Monday through Friday, plus the School Band and Band Holder, who made his essays in these rooms.
Other cultural and theatrical associations also go to these agencies, as Edmundo Chacour Association, which organizes children's theater and other functions that test in this room.

The budget for the works to begin in May, is 406,000 euros and the lead time is seven months, including the State Fund for Employment and Sustainability.
It will employ 20 people unemployed.
Remember that a total of fifteen adult theater and ten children, seven and 31 sessions of dance concerts make up the programming of municipal auditoriums February to June 2010.
