Careers offers the possibility of finding employment for people with difficulties in finding work (18/02/2010)

75% of students are women

37 people currently receive their diplomas after having completed the syllabi of the 'Labor Solidarity' by the Department of Youth and Employment of the City of Murcia.

The diplomas were presented by Councilwoman Maria Dolores Sanchez in a ceremony to close these courses.

The participants in this initiative have taken courses' specialized care for people with degenerative dementia ',' Assistant Kitchen community services' and 'Health and home care. "

This training is specifically aimed at population groups with integration difficulties in the labor market and women, long-term unemployed over 45 years, unemployed people under 60, young people seeking their first job or are unemployed and victims of violence domestic.

The Department of Youth and Employment aims to offer an alternative initiative to train and find employment for people with difficulties to enter the labor market.

All courses are free and also offer scholarships, bonobos and kindergarten service.

The 'Labor Solidarity' with the European Social Fund co-financing and is included in the Operational Programme Adaptability and Employment.

Its development spans the years 2009 and 2010.

The itinerary includes specific training, a period of two months work experience and additional training in basic computer skills, promoting business ideas, promotion of equal opportunities, actively seeking employment and combating exclusion.

Once completed the training and practice, participants have a counseling service for help in finding employment.

In total, 37 people have received their diplomas.

Of these, 29 have completed the route in its entirety and the rest have made at least specific training.

75% of students are women, and 32.4% are foreign nationals.

During its development, have caused some people down into the labor market or other studies have begun training.

Likewise, 33 participants, who receive no benefit, have enjoyed a grant assistance of 10 euros per day, 30 people have been provided to move the bus pass and two people have used the free toy library service located in the Agency Local Development.
