The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, this morning the book "Francisco Martínez García: A life in the service of faith ', lawyer, journalist and editor of Truth, as well as Mayor of the city.

Miguel Ángel Cámara work has highlighted the profound transformation experienced by the city of Murcia during the reign of Francisco Martínez García, who dedicated his political work to benefit the poorer classes, to boost the water supply of the municipality and the establishment of many sanitary measures, among others.
Francisco Martínez García was murdered in August 1936, at the beginning of the Civil War, for being a Catholic.
Therefore, in 2007 opened the canonization process that will raise to the altars.
