The University of Murcia has implemented projects to expand the contents of the forest park opened in the Espinardo Campus, which includes, among other actions, the construction of a bird observatory and a terrarium in which they provide information visitor.
Following the opening of this "North Park", which has enjoyed the cooperation of Cajaduero, the University has promoted the following phases, which include the establishment of native bird observatory, development of a rest area and the planting of olive trees, carob trees, palmettos and rosemary, among other species.
The projects to be carried over this year also included the construction of the terrarium and the installation of all necessary services to make the area a forest park where you can stroll and discover the flora and fauna.
The University also seeks to involve the university community and society in general in nature and environmental activities.
