Agents of the Police Headquarters of Murcia, belonging to the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police have arrested two Moroccan citizens residing in the city of Murcia, as perpetrators of stolen goods and theft of motorcycles and mopeds.
As have shown the research, dedicated to transport detainees to Morocco and motorcycles stolen in Murcia.
To facilitate the success of such transport and reduce the chances of being discovered, the bikes were taken apart in pieces and hidden in different vehicles crossing the border into Morocco, once in the destination, again be assembled with order to sell to customers residing in the North African country.
The bikes were stolen by the detainees themselves or purchased from local criminals, who seized the vehicles on the streets of Murcia and then deliver them to those in exchange for an agreed price.
The perpetrators were arrested on 4 February as they prepared to travel to Morocco with a van in which three motorcycles were stripped into pieces.
They were later made available to the examining magistrate in Murcia Guard functions.
