The initiative, promoted by the Department of Quality and Modernization of the Administration is part of the information campaign for implementation of DTT in the municipality, which aims to ensure digital coverage and increase the degree of connectivity of citizens.
The plan has received aid from the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The actions being undertaken are the installation of new transmitting facilities (DTT Gapfillers systems) for digital coverage similar or superior to existing analog.
Work will be performed in areas of the municipality that they have sufficient signal coverage and have a greater volume of people affected (such as San Jose de la Montana and other areas of the South Coast area and Esparragal, El Campillo and Montepinar).
For works of adaptation and installation of digital broadcasting centers with a grant from the region of € 135,000.
To promote public awareness about the upcoming digital switchover, the City commenced in August a plan to disseminate and publicize the transition to DTT in Murcia, and training for all citizens of the town know the process of transition to DTT and incorporate this technology in their homes.
The campaign aims to:

To conduct a survey on the degree of connection to the TDT and the reasons why that had not been adapted telephone surveys were conducted in homes, whose findings were used to design the campaign "Do not you have it?.
