Professor Pedro Guerrero was elected a member of a review committee of the Spanish language (01/02/2010)

The professor of the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia and writer Pedro Guerrero has been elected to the Committee of the American Academy of Spanish Language which will review it.

Guerrero has already worked for more than eight years on the committee that dealt with the New Grammar of the Spanish Language, published recently.

This professor at the University of Murcia has stressed the importance of spelling, as "is not only the code of written language, but also that of oral language."
