The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, through the Directorate General of Fine Arts and Cultural Rights has requested the City of Murcia applying a "broad-spectrum herbicide by spraying, in the presence of an archaeologist to oversee the operation."
As explained in the notification sent to City Hall this morning, this measure is adopted "as soon as possible and viable to cause effect" and occurs "because of the humidity and the latest rainfall on the archaeological remains."
