The Sports Centre Fleet make improvements in order to provide a quality installation for users.
The City Council has approved a project for the purchase of 57 bicycles for the activity of 'bike' (spinning), to renew and increase the number.
Bikes 'bike' are damaged due to frequent use and therefore to be replaced with new ones.
In addition, another improvement that will be held to replace the flooring in two rooms of the sports center for new flooring.
This is a special floor, which is not rigid and shock-absorbing minimizing the possibility that users injured.
This soil has high strength, durable, easy to clean and absorbs noise.
Total investment is 71,000 euros.
The CD The Fleet opened its doors in 2006.
The facility provides 8,220 seats and is the sports center with more employment in the municipality with about 80% of seats occupied.
The Sports Centre Fleet offers a gym, indoor heated pool, sports activities practiced in room, paddle courts, spa, park and sports pavilion.
