The University of Murcia and the Institute of Mexico in Spain will present tomorrow, day 27, a play about the teacher and thinker Rafael Altamira, who taught at the Free Institution of Education, which has been written by her granddaughter Pilar García-Altamira Tapia.
In the presentation of "Conversations with Rafael Altamira," which will be held in Aztec country's embassy in Madrid, will speak, along with the author, José Luis Villacañas teachers of the University Complutense of Madrid, and Rafael Asin, of University of Castilla-La Mancha.
The work has been published by the University of Murcia, whose coordinator of Publications, José Antonio Gómez, will speak at the event, and the University of Oviedo.
Rafael Altamira (Alicante, 1866-Mexico City, 1951) held various academic and political positions, including that of secretary of Teaching Museum and the Spanish law professor at the University of Oviedo.
He was also CEO of Primary and member of the Committee of Jurists entrusted by the League of writing the draft of the International Tribunal in The Hague.
