The Second Congress of the Ophthalmological Society of Murcia, who chairs Eduardo Fernandez, which involved hundreds of experts, the meeting was devoted to the study of glaucoma.

Throughout the Congress, held at the Hospital Universitario "Reina Sofía", were discussed issues such as treatment of neovascular glaucoma, the genetic basis of glaucoma, the contributions of structural techniques in the diagnosis of this disease and surgery for cataract and glaucoma angle-closure.

The meeting was attended by professors from different universities and ophthalmology responsible for various hospitals.

Besides the presentation of several papers, held a panel discussion moderated by Professor of the University Maria Paz Villegas, vice president of the Ophthalmological Society.
