Voting to elect the president of the University of Murcia and the Senate of this educational institution will be held on March 24, according to the schedule approved today by the Governing Council, which met in the building of Convalescence.
The electoral process will open on February 5 presentation to the census, while the deadline for submission of proposals is between 20 and 26 November.
The electoral campaign will begin on March 8 and end on 22 of the same month, while 23 will be a day of reflection.
It referred specifically to the choice of president, if that were several candidates and none of them obtained an absolute majority in the first round, they would turn to the second, carrying out these new polls on April 14.
So far only announced its willingness to stand for election the current rector, José Antonio Cobacho.
The Governing Council, chaired by Cobacho, has also adopted a series of cooperation agreements concluded with various agencies and entities, and two courses promoted by the Faculty of Fine Arts and one on food organized by the Faculty of Biology.
Finally, it has been agreed to respective conference on the current status of forensic science in the region and on the legal status of the family business.
