The Department of Quality and Modernization of the Administration, led by Rafael Gómez, plans to expand the municipal Aulas Free Internet access to provide all murcianos the use of new technologies.
Although the town now has a total of 293 public access points free internet in 13 classrooms and 14 free access telecentres, Murcia City Council wants to extend this service to as many neighbors as possible, so that projected create another 256 positions in 32 parishes.
The project is submitted to the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability for funding.

Another investment that the council has planned is the installation of two mainframe computers for data bases in order to have the appropriate infrastructure to meet telematics and transactional services as a result of the entry into force of Law 11/2007 June 22, on electronic access of citizens to public services.
The amount of these teams would total 195,000 euros, which also apply to state funds for employment and local sustainability.
