The Sports Director of Basketball Club Murcia, Paco Guillem, confirmed this afternoon the contract "until end of season for center Josh Asselin, who, though born in Michigan (United States) - Dominican nationality has even made his debut with this selection .
"This is a player with great power of intimidation in the paint and has good hand abroad," says Guillem, adding: "He has experience in the CBA, where he has triumphed in a team with the same objective as us."
Josh Asselin (12/24/1978, measuring 2'11m) comes from the BC Donetsk in Ukraine, but started this season in Seville on the orders of Joan Plaza (terminated its contract with the Cajasol in December).
In his long career, highlights their rise to the then ACB Ricoh Manresa (season 2006-2007) and his stay at the club for two more seasons in the national elite.
His numbers speak for themselves, as has been per game over 14 points and almost 5 rebounds.
