PSOE Councilman José Manuel Abellán recalled that the PP municipal tendered hastily the burial of the archaeological finds and geotextile sand on Dec. 30 by the Governing Board
The Socialist Party demands that the mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, immediately set aside the specification proposed in one of its burial of the palace complex and Andalus district of San Esteban with sand and geotextile.
Following the decisions taken by the expert committee on the preservation and exhibition of archaeological finds, the mayor of the PSOE José Manuel Abellán considered absurd and unnecessary to maintain a specification against the continuation of the excavations.
Now we have to think, "says Abellán-to consolidate and protect what is already immediately dug up its value and continue with the excavation where necessary to, once fully completed the excavation work and report writing relevant archaeological, to convene a public competition for the museological and value of the deposit.
So the mayor insists the PSOE, is essential to set aside as the specification for the burial of the findings of San Esteban initiated by the city of Murcia.
