The councilman of Culture and European Programmes, Fatima Barnuevo, has opened this morning, with Paco Salinas, Fotoencuentros coordinator and curator of the show, Angel Campos, Cajamurcia Foundation, and the photographer and driver, Oscar Fernando Gomez, the sample " Photographer driver: the streets of Monterrey ", an exhibition that is part of the tenth edition of Fotoencuentros.
Barnuevo stressed that the curator of the exhibition (Paco Salinas) has again demonstrated its ability to locate the work in the most suitable exhibition venues.
"Undoubtedly, the work of Oscar Fernando fits perfectly in line Castilla doors because it is a work that departs from all convention and norm, and leads to a breakthrough and different."
"The photographer driver: the streets of Monterrey" is the first solo exhibition of Oscar Fernando Gómez outside of Mexico.
Featuring more than twenty photographs showing the places where the author usually moves with his taxi.
The exhibit, which opened this morning, you can see in the showroom doors Castilla Municipal Center until February 27.
