García Montero's novel was honored last October with the Booksellers' Guild Award for Madrid, where I act as the jury said "a beautiful and unique story, the emotional recovery of a child's memory of war that would become one of the great Spanish poets of the postwar period.
A short novel that purports to be the witness of a fact, written with humor, wonder and tenderness. "
The presentation will be borne by Pedro Felipe Sánchez Granados.
The event was held in the Chamber of the Faculty of Arts at 19 hours.
