Children return to be the protagonists of programming
The Bernal Theatre presents a varied program for the first quarter consisted of 24 theatrical comedy, puppets and music, to be held on weekends from January to April 2010.
This year has a special dye, as it marks the centenary of the Theatre, which first opened in 1910 and was renovated and reopened by the city of Murcia in 2003.
Again, most companies are Murcia, representing 70% of the programming presented, which Bernal Theatre once again demonstrates its commitment to the performing arts sector in the Region of Murcia.
This strong commitment has been grateful for the president of the association Murcia Scene, Hope Clark, who attended the presentation.
For the second year running, continues the existing cooperation with the School of Dramatic Arts that will allow students premiere in April, his musical "Spring Awakening" has made a positive assessment of the school director, Juan Angel Serrano Masegoso.
The winners assemblies "Little Red Riding Hood," which won the Special Jury Prize at the International Festival of Mont-Laurier, Quebec, and "Obsession Street", by which the playwright Paco Murcia Diana was awarded the City of Palencia, led by Murcia fellow Mariano de Paco Serrano.
The companies did not come from Madrid, Murcia, Barcelona, San Sebastian, Burgos, Valladolid, Salamanca and Ciudad Real.
Entertainment prices remain the same since the reopening of the theater in 2003 and are affordable for all pockets, ranging from 2 euros for family shows, at 4 and 6 euros from the rest.
50% of the municipal theater's programming will be familiar (12 of 24 shows are intended for children's theater and puppetry), so that parents can go with your children every Sunday during the mornings (12:00 hours .)
