The Deputy Mayor of Education and Personal, Pilar Megía, presided this morning the traditional reception for more than 70 new students at the General Air Academy (AGA), which now start his military career.
The reception took place this morning at the Shrine of the Fuensanta and then has held the traditional floral offering to the patron saint of the city of Murcia.
Pilar Megía stressed that this visit has become a tradition, dating from the early fifties, and the municipality of Murcia is an honor to receive every year to the new promises of the Air Force.
As a novelty, pointed out the Deputy Mayor for Education and Personal, among the more than 70 new students are four youths, three boys and a girl-French exchange.
After the offering, and save the Virgen de la Fuensanta, knights and ladies of the General Air Academy have moved to the museum Salzillo, visited the beer factory Estrella de Levante and the 14 hours holding a fellowship meal at the restaurant Huertano corner of Murcia.
