Murcia City Council will conduct a project to repair the arena, the playground and bowling green situated in the district of Los Rosales, El Palmar.
The Board of Governors approved the explanatory notes to these works for presentation to the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability.
The arena will be expanded by 60 inches wide, as its current dimensions are smaller than those of a regulation track.
Also will be demolished consecutive steps inside of the track.

The new enclosure will consist of a reinforced concrete wall of 30 inches, metal fence 'vandal' and place a mesh enclosure 4 meters high.
On the playground was dismantled the current wooden fence and replaced by a fence similar to the sports ground, a height of one meter.
In the bowling area is placed a fence similar to the playground.
The planned investment in these works is 160,000 euros, the execution time of two months, and is expected to employ 6 people.
New switchboard for the Prince of Asturias
In addition, the Board of Governors approved submitting to the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability planned acquisition of a switchboard for the Prince of Asturias flag in order to improve communications between this office and other municipal buildings .
The deadline for installation of the new system is three months and 56,678 euros planned investment.
