Space Molinos del Rio Stables houses a year Fotoencuentros the first exhibition in Murcia.
It is the work of Dutch Bert Teunissen entitled 'Domestic Landscapes', which shows a series of photographs taken in rural Portugal.
The Councillor for Culture and European Programmes, Fatima Barnuevo has indicated that there is no better place to showcase the exhibition 'Domestic landscapes' that municipal hall due to their social and anthropological.
Barnuevo pointed out that this space has already hosted similar thematic exhibitions such as the Japanese photographer Kimiko Yoshida called 'Dedicated Mirror' in 2008, and showed his vision of the country women in Japan, or the photographer Magnum agency, Cristina García Rodero, with 'Spain, Festivals and Rituals', last year.
The City Council has encouraged residents to visit this exhibition, which will be on view until Feb. 27, in schedule from 11 to 14 and 17 to 20 hours (Sundays closed).
Molinos del Rio Stables is a room dedicated to photography which hosts major exhibitions of various themes.
The City has worked with Fotoencuentros since its inception, ten years ago.
Angel Campos, head of the Las Claras Cajamurcia Foundation, stressed the novelty and international Fotoencuentros and explained that this year will present 17 exhibitions, 3 workshops and screenings and lectures.
For his part, Francisco Salinas, Fotoencuentros coordinator, stressed that the photograph of Bert Teunissen has excellent optical quality and can appreciate all the details of the spaces and people photography.
In addition, the photographer always use natural light or home light bulbs, and meet people who pose for him, which provides various levels of interpretation of his work.
