Agents of the Police Headquarters of Murcia station belonging to the San Andres and public safety services, was arrested last January 7 to a man and a woman, Romanian and 38 and 50 years old, respectively as authors of several thefts at local shopping areas of the city of Murcia, using specially prepared bags to prevent the operation of alarm devices establishments.
The alleged perpetrators of the acts were caught as they left one of these premises and, after a foot chase through several streets of downtown, were arrested.
Later, the efforts undertaken by the agents allowed to locate the vehicle used by the prisoners, inside which were found many new clothes as well as 1,500 euros in cash.
Later it was found that all these items had been stolen in the previous 24 hours and that their value exceeded 6,000 euros.
The detainees were brought before the Magistrate's Court in Murcia Guard functions.
