Councilman Festivals and Popular Culture, Rafael Gómez Carrasco, the insignia of the association '5 a day 'because of "the commitment of the consistory Murcia with healthy eating."

The association '5 a day ', which Hortiberia Group is very active member, is an international movement that promotes the consumption of fruits and vegetables in the world and is present in over 40 countries across 5 continents.

Its name is based on minimum rations of fruit and vegetables recommended by the scientific and medical community in a healthy diet.

With the inclusion in the Christmas program of the City of Murcia the distribution of 2,000 batches of grapes for luck, which took place on the morning of Dec. 31, the City of Murcia has achieved two objectives: to comply with a tradition and while promoting fruit consumption among all Murcia.
