Tomorrow ends the first series 'Music of the Archives' with a concert at 20:30 pm in the General Archive of the Region of Murcia where you will be interpreted different composers Murcia.
The series, produced by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism through the Documentation Center and sponsored by Browns Musical Salzillo has consisted of five concerts held since last December 26 in the towns of Blanca, Cartagena, Murcia Yecla and the hamlet of La Alberca.
The series, which complements the activity that takes place in the Music Archive in terms of retrieval and dissemination of works of interpreters Murcia, is coordinated by the director of the Documentation Centre Musical, composer and musicologist Salvador Martínez García, professional with extensive experience in the field of research, interpretation and musical creation.
The cycle program consisting of existing works in the General Archive of the region, originally composed for them or adapted by Salvador Martínez.
The selection ranges from works of Lorca Antonio Cano (b. 1811), theoretical, guitarist and composer, appears essential to understanding the origins and significance of the Spanish guitar, to those of Salvador Martinez, the youngest.
Between them, they have developed his musical work of Murcia Julian Calvo, Fernández Caballero, Lopez Almagro, Massotti Little, Manuel Martínez, Benito Lauret Cartagena, the molinense Antonio López Villanueva and Jumillano Julian Santos.
The exhibition also features works by composers not but settled in Murcia Murcia, as Eduardo Souán, Manuel Diaz Cano and José Luis López García, and Enrique Granados exception of Lleida, included in this selection by the treatment with which he always approached the folklore of Murcia, who studied to compose that he himself considered his masterpiece, the opera Maria del Carmen, Murcia environment.
In this sample also held the world premiere of the show 'Murcia', composed by Eduardo Souán, which was heard for the first time in the first concert of this course offered at the Victoria Theatre from White.
The works are performed by the Camerata Soloists Murcia, composed for the occasion by young string musicians Murcia, students and alumni of Spanish conservatories such as Murcia, Madrid, Barcelona, San Sebastian and Badajoz, and the Conservatory of Salzburg in Austria .
Its director, Antimo Miravete, has significant experience as concertmaster with the Orchestra of Vich, under the direction of Jordi Mora.
Created by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Musical Documentation Centre aims to collection, acquisition, restoration, preservation, dissemination and promotion of works by composers from the Region of Murcia.
With this center, the Archives became the first in Spain carried out a comprehensive treatment of the musical documentary heritage.
