Valcárcel received on January 11 the committee of experts to decide on the work at the site of St. Stephen (30/12/2009)

The President of the Autonomous Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, receives the 11th of January to the committee of experts who will make decisions concerning the conservation and protection of the site of San Esteban.

The commission, which will hold its first workshop in the afternoon, is composed by Professor of Medieval History at the University of Granada, Antonio Malpica Cuello, the architect of Murcia, Heritage Restoration specialist, Prefasi Rafael Pardo, Professor of area Medieval History at the University of Murcia, Jorge Eiroa Rodríguez, Professor of Archaeology at the Universidad Complutense Nogué Jose Maria Luzon, the Professor of Medieval History at the University of Murcia Juan Francisco Jiménez Alcázar, the civil engineer, Canales y Puertos Emilio Estrella Sevilla, the director of the Institute of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property in Valencia and representative of the International Council on Monuments and Historic-Artistic Sites (ICOMOS), Carmen Perez Die, and Professor of Archaeology at the University Rovira i Mar Virgili Ricardo Medina.
