Murcia City Council continues to promote the employability of people with physical or intellectual disabilities, because it has signed a new cooperation agreement with the Association for the Integration of Persons of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PEEM).
This agreement will allow two workers belonging to that association, engage in practices in the city of Murcia for a period of three months.
This is purely professional practices, to be held in the City services that will materialize.
Moreover, it is noteworthy that there are now more than a dozen people with a disability who are conducting training practices in some departments.
This agreement adds to the existing cooperation agreements with various associations that provide a framework to make contracts for training workers, role in the process of socio-professional integration and to take positive action to achieve equality of opportunity and non-discrimination.
