The Councillor for Housing and Transport, Antonio Castillo, the Director of Housing and Land Institute, Jane Brown, the chief of Urbamusa, Roque Ortiz, and the president of the District Board of La Paz, La Fama and Vistabella, Rafael Gomez; have visited this morning the last works of rehabilitation of facades and roofs in the neighborhood of Vistabella.
With this work is completely finished the project of rehabilitation of facades and roofs of the neighborhood.
In particular, we are arranging the blocks 5 and 20 Vistabella, 50 and 51 homes respectively.
The works have started this month and have a lead time of ten months.
This work is funded by the Housing and Land Institute of the Autonomous Region (50%), the City of Murcia (25%) and homeowners (25%).
The works are being carried out by Urbamusa.
The works are carried out under an agreement signed between the Housing and Land Institute of the Autonomous Region and the Municipality of Murcia for the rehabilitation of blocks 1 to 8 of Santa María de Gracia, and 5 and 20 Vistabella.
The work of rehabilitation of roofs and facades in Vistabella and Santa Maria de Gracia began ten years ago.
In total will be rehabilitated over a thousand houses in Vistabella and about a thousand in Santa Maria de Gracia.
In addition, we are working on the rehabilitation of roofs and facades of the blocks 1 to 8 of Santa María de Gracia, with 80 homes, being also fully completed works in this neighborhood.
Also, will rehabilitate the facades and roofs of about 160 homes in the neighborhood of Los Almendros de La Alberca.
Construction will begin early this year and the contract period is 10 months.
