The event, organized each year by the city of Murcia and lawn-concessionaire of this service, invites students from 3 rd to 6 th grade, aged between 8 and 12, to draw their ideas and suggestions about how according to them, it is possible to get everybody to contribute to enjoy a cleaner neighborhoods and districts.
The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, accompanied by Councilman street cleaning, José Ros, delivered this morning the prizes to the winners, whose work formed the 2010 calendar.
In addition, more than 6,000 drawings presented on display from today until next Saturday, at the roundabout.
The school competition was launched for the first time since 1995 and has not stopped growing participation of schools and students.
So, this year has achieved its highest share of the 15 editions held.
The contest "Murcia Clean" ends the school year that has developed in the classroom through lectures to learn how to recycle at home, knowing the city cleaning, waste collection and essential guidelines to help.
The activity has been completed with a visit to the Centre of Urban Waste Management to see "in situ" respectful and responsible management of waste.

Another is a robot that reminds people that we have Murcia Clean and last, that the containers could talk and say things like strip away from my eyes!

The winners received a Nintendo DS and schools have been honored with the delivery of a complete composite multifunction scanner, copier and printer, and the winning frame.
This year also has given a special mention to the class with the best messages that went to the classroom of grade 4 St. Bonaventure College.
The students have been rewarded with a free day in the park Terra Natura.
Before the awards, the Mayor has proposed that children keep a respectful minute of silence in memory of Murcia, Molina Sánchez painter, died yesterday.
