The Department of street cleaning and rubbish collection has undertaken a project to install 54 new points of underground containers of waste and recycling, neighborhoods and districts of Murcia.
Each of these 54 points will have two containers.
65% of new underground containers shall be installed in districts, which currently has side cargo containers as Beniaján, El Palmar, Cabeza de Torres, Corvera, Bacons Bridge, Llano de Brujas, etc.
The remaining containers will be installed underground in neighborhoods of Murcia.
The town now has about 400 underground containers.
The period of execution of this project is 6 months and work could begin in the first quarter.
The planned investment of 2.3 billion euros.
This project has been submitted for funding by the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability.
