Next year will be held the first phase of the Fire Training School.
Following the success of the 2009 edition of the Youth Volunteer Program for Cooperation, next year will take out a new edition which aims to increase the number of destination countries, with amplitude of the profiles required by target organizations, as well as the number of volunteer positions regardless of age.
The Department of Prevention and Fire Fighting, Civil Defence and Development Cooperation, who heads Remigio Lopez, will have by next year with a total budget of 13,050,520 euros, an amount that has experienced an increase of 0.14% compared to 2009.

If an expansion of cooperative youth program will be one of the actions to carry out, in this sense, the council plans to pay special attention to awareness raising activities.
The launch campaign to promote, especially among children and youth, the values of solidarity and cooperation for development and training of volunteers is one of the actions that the City an important economic contribution, selecting those projects submitted by different ONG'D the municipality.

Also undertake the reform of the Control Center, will be carried out modernization of the Information Management System and will launch the new TETRA communication system integrated into the Region of Murcia.
The increase in the vehicle fleet also conducted in 2010 by joining the fleet of five new vehicles (towing chemical propping trailer, trailer extinguishing foam generator, auxiliary vehicle van car mixed reception with fire engine CAF foam system) as well as adding new material resources for the development of prevention and suppression work carried out by the strength of the body.

Next year will also be the year of consolidation of the Canine Unit, launched in 2009 and devoted to the search and rescue.
