The works are financed by the Autonomous Community, the City and owners of apartments
The Councillor for Housing and Transport, Antonio Castillo, the Director of the Institute for Housing and Land, Jane Brown, and Urbamusa Manager, Roque Ortiz, this morning visited the rehabilitation work on roofs and facades of houses in the neighborhood Santa Maria de Gracia.
The book consists of the restoration of roofs and facades of 80 houses in blocks 1 to 8 of the neighborhood.
These works are fully completed all the works of its kind in Santa Maria de Gracia.
The work will be completed before summer.
In addition, works have started rehabilitation of roofs and facades of the last blocks remaining to be rehabilitated in Vistabella.
This is a total of 101 housing blocks 5 and 20.
Also, soon will begin work to fix the roofs and facades of 160 homes in the neighborhood of Los Almendros in La Alberca.
The deadline for execution of these works is ten months and during that time will be hired to ten unemployed neighborhood residents to work.
All these works are funded by the Housing and Land Institute of the Autonomous Region (50%), the City of Murcia (25%) and homeowners (25%).
