The University of Murcia today inaugurated the building of the Faculty of Sports Science (09/12/2009)

Murcia University opened today, March 9, the building of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, built in Santiago de la Ribera (San Javier), during a ceremony in which the president of the Higher Council of Sports Jaime Lissavetzky give a lecture.

The building has a floor area of 4,500 square meters and has a covered sports pavilion, a heated pool and other facilities.

In the opening ceremony, which starts at 13:00 hours, Lissavetzky speak on "Present and defiance of Spanish sport."

This campus of San Javier in Murcia University joins the other three of which already have this institution, Merced, Espinardo and Health Science, the latter, in the hamlet of El Palmar Murcia.
