Awareness is one of the great pillars that held the city of Murcia, through the Department for Development Cooperation, who heads Remigio López.
The launch campaign to promote, especially among children and youth, the values of solidarity and cooperation for development and training of volunteers is one of the actions that the City an important economic contribution, selecting those projects submitted by different ONG'D the municipality.
Murcia City Council wants to continue working in this direction, hence it has met with the Vice Chancellors of University Outreach and International Relations at the University of Murcia (UMU), Guillermo Díaz Esteban Abad Baths and Angels, respectively, to start work collaboration.
The meeting between the two institutions will allow to start next year, particularly from March, a collaboration that will allow the development of diverse activities aimed at raising awareness.
This is the first collaboration with the University of Murcia in raising awareness and, according to the minister for Development Cooperation, "The joint collaboration will allow to reach one of the most important, the university, allowing further boost awareness and solidarity with the poorest countries ".
