Like every Sunday, hundreds of people have come to San Esteban to listen to explanations by Professor García del Toro, and after this exposure has undertaken a massive hug to the site.
During the hug could be heard the following slogan: "To preserve and not destroy."
At the end of the hug attendees have come sign for the return of cultural interest.
The Civic Platform has supported its promotion and participation in the call to the last Sunday has made Prof. Javier R.
García del Toro citizens to provide an interesting presentation on the important archaeological site of San Esteban, an Arab neighborhood of the thirteenth century, with more than 50 houses, several mansions and even a mosque.
Upon completion, more than 400 people have proceeded to surround the site with a human chain and carrying signs reading "Save the Field."
The embrace lasted half an hour, during which they have shouted slogans such as "preserve and not destroy."
There were many onlookers who stopped to ask and that after receiving the explanation of what went on there joined the human chain.
Having to close the massive hug, attendees have come to the table in which the Civic Platform had prepared some sheets for collecting signatures in support of the statement of St. Stephen's site of cultural interest.
This event has been added symbolism, as being the anniversary of the Spanish Constitution, citizens have had with this big hug your constitutional right and duty to defend the cultural heritage of all.
More and more people after knowing what has appeared in San Esteban joined the Civic Platform to demand its preservation "in situ" and its value.
