Ten neighborhood residents unemployed work in the works
The Councillor for Housing and Transport, Antonio Castillo, and technicians of the Department and Urbamusa presented yesterday to the residents of Los Almendros rehabilitation works and facades that will be done in 160 homes in the neighborhood.
Castillo explained that the works are funded by the Housing and Land Institute of the Autonomous Region (50%), the City of Murcia (25%) and homeowners who would have to pay 25% of the performance.
Urbamusa awarded and works to rehabilitate the facades and roofs of 160 houses in the neighborhood.
Work will begin early this year.
The implementation period is 10 months.
In addition, ten neighbors will hire unemployed Los Almendros to work at construction sites.
People interested in applying for the post will have to be put in contact with the Neighborhood Association.
