The Department of Social Welfare, Gender Equality Policies and Citizenship, directed by Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, has pursued a policy of support and intervention to people who are disadvantaged and vulnerable, putting in place various actions aimed at raising its educational level, social participation and socio-professional integration, through resources tailored to their situation of social difficulty.
The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has this morning approved the hiring of services for conducting training and promotional activities of people in social distress Copedeco Company, Cooperative Society, for a total of 17,350 euros.
It will develop two training modules through two simultaneous workshops aimed at people incorporated into the accompanying program for social inclusion, from socially disadvantaged groups, with which it has initiated a comprehensive training process and need to acquire and reinforce social skills basic and pre-employment to gain access to other resources on more advanced training.
Workshops to be developed are:
- Basic Social Skills Workshop
Workshop - Healthy Habits, Hair & Beauty.
Have a dynamic and practical sessions.
The creation of two groups with a total of between 25 and 30 participants from various neighborhoods and districts of the municipality.
Also, receive a grant of assistance and transportation, as well as specific support for reconciling family responsibilities with the development of training activities.
The duration of this activity is one month and have intensified, and to be held from Monday to Friday.
During the Christmas period with the participants will develop a school holiday to be attended with their sons and daughters to share leisure and cultural space, strengthening and implementation of all the content worked in the training sessions.
