The Union of Islamic Communities in Murcia (UCIDMurcia), representing the Union of Islamic Communities of Spain (UCIDE) in the Region of Murcia, wishes to express its commitment to the Platform for the Conservation of Archaeological Site of San Esteban (Murcia)

UCIDMurcia, representing the Muslim community of Murcia, wants to join this platform to consider the archaeological remains found in San Esteban should be preserved as historical heritage of all Murcia.

UCIDMurcia want to apply formally to the authorities that the remains of the chapel create a symbolic worship center "that can be a great gesture of reconciliation with Islam and a testimony to the existence of an ancient culture that has survived to today in this City. "
